I couldn't resist sharing this site. It is a case where Art literally makes the garden. In this case an underwater park is transformed into a garden by the addition of sculpture. There is of course no planting going on here, the garden is defined purely by the sculpture. There is no landscape, or borders, it is an environ void of garden in every aspect, and yet. This has to be the best example of art creating a setting , or defining a space I can imagine. It separates a section of a vast ocean floor into a place, it is a location, it has a mood, it changes into something completely new. The possibilities are very exciting when I begin re-considering art in the landscape with this concept. I find this is fascinating conceptually, please enjoy, let me know what you think?
